In the past, TTD has taught you how to cook a wide variety of dishes - from holiday meals to tasty bakery treats. Now, learn the basics - from A to Z - of making an entire multi course French dinner.

Roll up your chemises â manches, put on your chef's hat and prepare to be a chef de cuisine as we invite you into the kitchen of one of Washington's best chefs for a hands-on French cooking class.

From opening up the ingredients to preparing the meal to tasting the final product, by the time this class is done you’ll be ready to impress your friends, family, coworkers with your special new skill.

Class size is extremely limited for this event. Each new “chef” will to enjoy a generous portion of their day's creations.

Vera Foresman, our chef for these classes, has been offering classes such as these for the past several years. She is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley and has worked in restaurants and catering in D.C. and Northern Virginia. For the last fifteen years she has taught a number of popular and varied cooking classes for Arlington County’s Adult Education Program. Vera has traveled widely-- sampling great food along the way-- and enjoys sharing recipes and good food, as well as trading travel stories with our membership.
